I am an educator, crafter, and animal enthusiast with a passion for fostering fascination in the natural world. These paths converge with my nature-inspired snowflakes. The designs are mostly inspired by animals, but I also occasionally dabble in plants and other non-animals. I am always open to suggestions for new designs! 

I got my start by making paper snowflakes to decorate offices of the zoos and museums where I’ve worked. Today, I use digital drawings, my laser cutter, and hard materials to make my snowflakes into wooden ornaments, coasters, trivets, wreaths, and more. I still make paper snowflakes for fun!

In addition to my snowflakery, bats are another big passion. I’m a Bat Conservational International certified Bat Ambassador and Bat Walk Leader. Bat Walks are educational public events with an overview of what bats are, what bats live in our area, and then going on a walk with technology that helps us find and identify them by listening for their echolocation calls.
